The butterfly as a purely formal problem: the geometry of wings, the symmetry and asymmetry that nature uses as its working method. Marta strips the subject of its received symbolism and looks at it fresh — the result is less emblem than study.
The work looks different from five feet than from fifty centimetres. Both distances are worth taking.
