Marta Ellie is a Polish artist based in Málaga, Spain. Before she ever painted for herself, she spent twenty years as a professional art restorer in Kraków — carefully bringing centuries-old paintings and sculptures back to life, learning how the Old Masters actually built their images, layer by layer, pigment by pigment.
That forensic foundation lives in everything she creates today: bold, saturated compositions in oil on large-format canvas, where technical discipline and raw colour meet. The move from grey Kraków skies to the Mediterranean light of Andalusia transformed her palette. Her work moved from careful and restrained to something bolder, warmer, more alive.
She also taught art at an international school in Poland, where her students gained places at top European art academies. She paints live at weddings across the Costa del Sol. She has 743 works in homes across Europe, with 136 verified collectors worldwide.
The prints are museum-quality giclée reproductions, limited to 20 per work, signed and numbered. The originals are commissions — painted to your brief, your colours, your wall. Everything ships with a certificate of authenticity.

The studio
Málaga, Spain
Marta's studio is in Málaga — a city of strong light, long shadows, and a deep artistic tradition. The Mediterranean light she came here for floods everything. Colours that felt impossible in Kraków arrive here naturally.
Large canvases fill the space. The work is physical — she moves around the canvas, builds in layers, often reworks sections a dozen times before a composition resolves. Her background in restoration taught her patience and her eye. The sun taught her boldness.
When she isn't painting, she walks the beach. She misses the Tatra Mountains. Three cats supervise everything with complete indifference.
